Be focused and have purpose in your life. See where you want to be and you should have no problem getting there. Never be afraid to go for the gusto.
After all, I would have never guessed I would be sitting in Teddy Riley’s house chopping it up with him, but I am.
Some people have a complex and you must understand that. No matter what they will never admit their wrong doings due to a sense of pride. Learn to never be that person.
No matter the repercussions they will never see the error in their actions and they will always defend their deeds. They justify themselves with a sense on entitlement to always be right even when they are wrong. Learn to never be that person.
We have all faced a time in our lives when our actions are wrong an learning to accept that truth makes us all better people. Mistakes are made to gain an understanding and through that understanding we learn. Learn to be that person.
Never count yourself out of the game. Always believe in yourself and know that you can pull off the things you imagine yourself doing. Having complete faith in yourself makes the difference in winning and losing.
During the times that your back is against the wall and you feel the most vulnerable something good happens. It’s at this period your inner strength is pushed to the limits and you are forced to either face your greatness or accept your weakness.
The choice is yours….but that little voice that speaks to you and tells you that you can do it knows what it is talking about. Listen to it and count on yourself to come through when you really need to.
Feeling the need to fly away? Spread your wings and kiss the sky! If your heart tells you it’s time to venture out and experience something new don’t listen to your mind when it tells you to think twice.
Thinking twice is why you are in your comfort zone. Though that isn’t a bad thing sometimes your heart knows the way and your mind sees the problems. We face problems everyday anyway so why not spread your wings and just go for it.
What do you have to lose?
Why be afraid to take a chance?
Just go for it!!!!
We all know what the American dream is and we all chase it. We all hope to make it a reality in our everyday lives.
One question remains!
Are we really chasing the American dream or have we been lead to chase something that we will never really obtain unless you wake up.
What was America’s dream?
You already know!
This post is for artists however it may apply to all. At least I see how it relates to everybody.
With that said, artists need to focus on creative freedom and giving their artistic value a chance to change their life. Only you know the effort you put into your creation and that determines what it is worth to you.
The people who will cherish your work are out there waiting for you to appease their appetite with your art. Instead of focusing on money or fame focus on being one of the best and everything falls into place.
When you focus on money you inevitably sell yourself short. When you leave it up to others to determine your value they have control over you and your well being.
Be free…..be independent!!!!
That is the American dream!!!
Go for what you know!
Do what you feel is right for you!
Life is meant for you to live not just exist. You must be willing to give your all in something or else you find you have gained nothing. There are many obstacles we must face but each obstacle is intended to make you grow. Whether that growth is thinking, understanding, or gaining strength, ultimately you realize you become a better person having endured the hardships of the obstacle.
It’s hard to push a boulder up hill so if it is in your path you have to decide what to do. Having a little patience and thinking outside of the box you can come up with a solution. Why push it in the direction you are going? It may be far easier to step to the side and push it off your path. Maybe you could put your effort in climbing over it and continuing on with your mission.
The choice is yours but remember the great individuals find a way around their obstacles. The greatest individuals refuse to let that obstacle remain on that path because they don’t want to leave that struggle to next individual when they can break down the door for all who follow in their steps.
Life is for living and the best way to feel alive is to feel as if you accomplished something. So never let an obstacle hold you back from that accomplishment. If you have made it easier for yourself and others…..mission accomplished!
Well, you get the point!!!!
Stay up peace!!!
Learning to be content can be a hindrance as well as beneficial. If you are content because of lack of motivation that’s never good. If your content because you realize you have everything you need to get to next level you’re on the right track.
Sometimes you must understand all the tools to your success lie right in front of you. You may just need to slow down and take a moment to observe your progress in order to evaluate your current position. If you have consistently worked to better yourself you might just find that you are further along than you think. Even though you may have much further to go at least you’ve made it this far.
So in hind sight being content isn’t always a bad thing. It is okay to fall back, take your time, and reflect. During that process you may find that it is perfectly normal to be content…..for just a moment anyways!!!!
Stay focused, be patient, and never give up.
Always look forward to new adventures that bring new opportunities and learn to acknowledge lessons learned from the past. The future has the potential to be better than the past so long as you stay focused and strive to be better. It only becomes bleak when your outlook is negative.
The most important thing I’ve learned about life is to surround yourself with the right people. As you get older you learn to differentiate between people who are there for you to help you as well as those who have been placed in your life as obstacle. Not everyone is a true friend even though they say they are. Not everyone is an enemy even though you may perceive them as such.
Take full advantage of the individuals who push you to do better and cherish the advice they give. It’s better to have one person who gives you that push you need rather than to have a bunch of people who criticize your efforts without offering a helping hand. After all, that’s why we are all here…….to help one another.
Growth is inevitable to all things that share this great gift called life. Even lifeless elements are subject to change. It’s just a natural part of life that we all have to deal with.
For me this change came suddenly when I realized a couple of things. The first is where I wanted to be in life in the future. The second was where I am at the current moment. Once I aligned the two together I saw clearly some things that I had turned a blind eye to for years and I concluded that I had an issue to address. So I did!!!!
Learning to be comfortable in your own skin requires years of growth and understanding yourself. Whenever you learn to do so other people’s opinions no longer matter. Trust me, I’ve been called all sorts of names and given all sorts of attributes by people I have known because I am comfortable being me.
When you grow in this manner you may find it necessary to also let go of certain things. It’s all a process that becomes clear when you try to align yourself with people who are successful at whatever it is you have set a goal for. It isn’t easy and it never will be. If you don’t try you’ll never know.
With that being said I’ve decided to partner up with someone who has been trying to work with me for a while now. I’ll give credit where credit is due….he has accomplished more than I have so that is a good start. I know one things for sure……failure has never been an option. If you find yourself amongst people who don’t fully understand how you as an individual functions…..make a change and change your support system!!!
Staying focused is the key to succeeding at accomplishing goals. Sometimes things can get in your way and get you completely off track. It’s at these times that either you pick up and get back to doing what you set off to achieve or you continue going down a path that ultimately takes you to a dead end.
It’s far better to realize that you are off track as soon as possible than to ignore the signs because sometimes retracing steps can add more strain to your success. You never want to be so far gone that it is pointless to get back to your original point of going astray.
Destiny knows what it’s doing so let her do her job. Just enjoy the ride and all things work themselves out. The road to success isn’t always smooth so just be ready for the rough areas and everything will be alright!!!
